I have to admit that I am bad about writing authors and giving feedback on stories, even your stories, which I have enjoyed so much. But this evening I read Half Truths and simply have to say that hands-down, it was the single best piece of MFU fanfic I have read. Starting from the beginning, it was simply great - the dialogue between IK and NS was perfect; the vacation in Scotland, the feelings were wonderfully expressed; in many slash stories when the two express their love, it seems as if they are no longer the characters we know, but generic in love characters - yours were perfect. The scenes where Illya has to make Napoleon angry were great, as was the whole plot - it wasn't just a romance with a sprinkle of plot, but a real story that combined romance with action and intrigue. I printed it out and will read it over and over. Thanks for this and all of your other great stories.
