Well, you know I loved "Leather," and this is the perfect completion for that story. So complex and yet extraordinarily simple. "Partners," not "lovers." Sigh. Wonderful.

Cord - you are such a vivid writer - you appeal to all our senses and this is something I find very enjoyable. I particularly liked the scene in the tunnel and the part on the boat. Although I never for a moment doubted Illya's integrity, you had me wondering what was going on at first. Then I was with Napoleon all the way. Lovely work. More please.
