This is wonderful and a perfect ending for Terbuf.

That was a beautiful, short and sweet look at both characters after Terbuff. I could easily see them in my mind while reading, almost feel the rocking of the train and hear the sound of the wheels while reading. I hope that at the end, Napoleon is beginning to understand.

I think I'd read this before, but I reread it and wanted to say I really enjoyed their exchange and analysis on the nature of love; true to form for these two, I thought, and I love the hint at the end that Napoleon is thinking very hard about Illya's motivations, in light of their discussion.

Besides knowing Napoleon and Illya well, you are a very thoughtful writer with great insight. The idea that we have our reasons for doing things--or loving certain people--and then get bonded whether or not the reasons hold up is a very interesting thought. Thank you.

I adore this. You've written the perfect continuation for the provocative ending of "Terbuf," and written exactly what I would have loved to see on the screen.

Most enjoyable. It's a shame this wasn't taped - it would have made a perfect ending for the show.
