This was a great tale on so many levels. The hurt and comfort, angst, friendship and love. And a cat! What's not to love?

Hi Di! It was a pleasure to read through this story again - it's one of my favorites! Ooooh, that scene, after Napoleon's confession, where Illya rests his head on Nap's shoulder and they explore each other with hands in front of the window...that's such a lovely scene. So peaceful, yet intense and very, very sensual. Yum!
To be honest, I couldn't tell where you'd done your revising. This version is just as wonderful. :)

This is a wonderfully moody and touching story. I do think the end wrapped itself up a little quickly and a little neatly, but that just means I wanted it to go on longer.
