Holy cow. This was just incredible. What a mastery of inner worlds, what a mastery of dialog, what a mastery of things unspoken. Without the tedium of a long backstory you conveyed everything needed. It was just beautiful. Illya's sarcasm, Napoleon's recognition of it, the subtle and not so subtle games - I gobbled it in one long gulp and now plan to return to it, to savor it slowly. Thank you so much for sharing this. Oh. Did I say it was also hot? Very very hot. It is the blend of skill, characterization, dialog and heat that makes the best slash - and this is the best slash - such a joy.
