I am bored at work, so I am re-reading some old stories on C&GM and "Solstice Affair" popped up. I had forgotten how amazing this story truly is! First of all, I love how you allow the reader to experience the same feelings Napoleon does as the story unfolds, especially when he sees the person on the dock and we aren't quite sure who it is at first. The ending always makes me cry when Illya kisses Napleon, and then laugh at Napoleon's response to Illya's suggestion that they "talk". I find myself wanting to follow them into the house. Please don't ever stop writing. I am a huge fan.
