I read this some years ago but decided to revisit it and if I didn't tell you before, I'm telling you now : I really enjoyed this. I like seeing people's interpretation of Napoleon's family and of course I love first time stories. Thanks for sharing it!

I enjoyed reading this story and getting a new perspective on the Family Solo. I thought it was a nice touch that Alex is, on some levels at least, justified in his dislike of Napoleon because he stole his fiancee.
