This is such a fabulous idea, I'm quite envious of the bunny! But then you write it so well...
Particularly enamoured of: '"I have an idea." "The concept is a frightening one."' which made me spit tea ':)
You cap it all with the 'bed?' query - that has to be the simplest version of that request I've ever read. How you managed to make that feel believable and just right - the exact moment when you both know it's okay to ask - with so little explanation, I shall never know, but bravo!
